We made it!

We have finally made it to Namibia and our all situated at our hotel. Like any sort of travel, there are always at least a few little unexpected surprises. One came when we were ready for take-off and the pilot told us that one of the front tires had deflated. So it took about an hour for them to put air in the tires, put on a new tire, and then to refuel.

After we landed in Frankfurt, we took the train in to see downtown Frankfurt. We wandered around and ate at this German restaurant. I ordered sausage with potato salad and it was quite good. Plus, I had to give it points for presentation. Afterwards we found a bridge that had locks on it, usually with names engraved in the locks. We weren't really sure what it meant. Another point of interest was seeing the Occupy movement in front of the Frankfurt bank. While we were waiting for our train to come I made a friend, who happened to be very drunk. He told me about how he was president and a gold medal winner. Also, he had been to the United States working as a farmer in Las Vegas on the 47th floor of a building. But he didn't like it so he came back home after ten weeks. Here are some pictures from our time in Frankfurt.
